Jess has been with the Heartland team since 2022, and has fallen in love with veterinary medicine ever since! She grew up in small town Alberta in Hanna, and then bounced around Alberta until she landed here in Airdrie. She lives here now with her boyfriend and their very high energy, very silly husky, Lukka who they adopted in 2023.

In her free time you can find her at the gym, at home trying out a new recipe in the kitchen, or spending time with her two children.

She enjoys veterinary medicine for the challenge of difficult cases, and the process of helping the veterinarians and technicians treat different kinds of conditions. She also enjoys helping out with surgery patients, and if she isn't running around cleaning the instruments after procedures then you can find her in the kennel rooms cuddling patients.
