Darian, Veterinary Care Assistant
Darian is a Veterinary Care Assistant at Heartland Veterinary Clinic with nearly 10 years of experience working with animals in kennels, clinics and other care environments. She is passionate about animal health, joint health and overall wellbeing, and loves helping pet parents feel confident and supported in their pet’s care.
Her journey into veterinary medicine was inspired by her dog, Pepper, who had severe hip dysplasia. Wanting to better understand Pepper’s condition and how she could help, Darian pursued an education in veterinary care and discovered a passion for helping other pets and their families along the way.
Darian especially enjoys getting to know each pet’s unique personality and building trust with their families, helping create a safe and welcoming experience for everyone who comes through the clinic doors.
Outside of work, Darian enjoys reading, playing games and adventuring in the mountains with her retired sled dog, Quinby.
Fun fact: Darian spent nearly three years working with more than 200 sled dogs and has a special love for working breeds!
