Brenda, Receptionist

Brenda is the warm, friendly face that greets you and your pets the moment you step through our doors. She joined the Heartland team after moving to Airdrie in February, trading the hustle and bustle of Calgary for a quieter pace and a clinic she could truly call home. With over 11 years of experience in the veterinary industry, Brenda brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and a genuine love for animals to our front desk.

What she loves most about her role? Getting to know our furry patients and their people—especially when a proud pup parent asks if she wants to see a trick (the answer is always yes!). Whether she’s offering treats or sharing her expertise with the team, Brenda is always ready to help make each visit feel smooth, supportive, and full of tail wags.

At home, Brenda is surrounded by love in the form of six fur babies—three dogs (Scout, Tera, and Cassy) and three cats (Oscar, Bo, and Moon). When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her out on a walk or adventure with her pups, playing softball, or tapping into her creative side through arts and crafts.
