Digital Radiography

We at Heartland Veterinary Clinic are excited to bring the benefits of digital radiology to our patients. The ability to take digital x-rays is another significant advancement in veterinary diagnostic imaging that allows the entire radiographic process to be completed without using film. One of the primary advantages of digital systems is the improved image resolution (see photo), which enhances the ability of our Veterinarians to diagnose and treat cases. Digital radiology also enables us to send images to specialists when needed in diagnosing more complex cases. With this technology, we are able to have immediate results without waiting for chemical processing, which means we can treat your pets quickly and accurately.
