Therapy Laser

Therapy laser uses: Osteoarthritis, joint pain, tendonitis, ligament sprain, muscle strain, post surgical pain, neck and back pain, hip dysplasia, edema and congestion, chronic wounds, and many more.

What is Therapy laser? A Painless laser energy treatment that increases circulation, drawing water, oxygen, and nutrients to the damaged area. This creates an optimal healing environment that reduce inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness, and pain. As the injured area returns to normal, function is restored and pain is relieved.

Why Laser Surgery?

Why Laser Surgery?
Less pain - seals nerve endings as it cuts through tissue, significantly reducing post operative pain

Less bleeding - seals blood vessels resulting in little or no bleeding

Rapid healing - with less pain, bleeding and swelling, wounds heal quickly and pets return to their normal activities faster

Reduced risk of infection - the laser sterilizes as it cuts, vaporizing diseased tissue and killing bacteria

Laser Surgery is Ideal for Nearly All Surgical Procedures Including:
  • Spaying or neutering
  • Wart and cyst removal
  • Tumor and growth removal
  • Bladder stone removal

PLEASE NOTE: A client is considered a referral if he/she comes to Heartland Veterinary Clinic by referral from their primary veterinary clinic. After the procedure or treatment is completed, a final and complete written report will be sent to the referring veterinarian, regarding all findings, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, aftercare, or pathology.

Heartland Veterinary Clinic will not perform any other procedure that is not authorized by the referral veterinarian other than life-saving emergency procedures (CPR). The staff of Heartland Veterinary Clinic will instruct the client upon discharge to return to the referring veterinarian for follow-up and all other services required. However, there may be times when it will be necessary for the patient to return to our clinic for future evaluation or K-laser treatment. This will only be done when it is deemed in the best interest of the patient or requested by the referring veterinarian.

If a patient is referred to Heartland Veterinary Clinic for a procedure, we will never accept that patient as a primary care patient for the life of the patient unless requested by the referral veterinarian.
