I want to express a HUGE thank you to Dr. Rotaru and Angela for helping me with my macaw when I showed up at closing time on Friday. She had somehow gotten a metal link wedged onto her lower beak and it wasn’t coming off without some help. I couldn’t fix the problem myself and didn’t know who to turn to, but when I walking in the door, they both stepped up to the challenge. With a lot of effort and bird-wrangling, it finally came off.
Again, thank you so much for your help.

**NOTE – At Heartland, we do not provide medical services to exotic pets. In this instance Mandy just needed a few extra hands to help her get the ring off of Kiko’s beak. If you need medical advice for your exotic pet, please contact a vet who is familiar with and comfortable treating exotics.**
